Starbright moved through the stands yelping out a bunch of 'Sorry!' and 'Excuse me!'s while trying to avoid tripping feet. Finally reaching his
seat in the Ministry box, right next to the Staff box, he adjusted his scarf. Of course, he would be cheering for Gryffindor, seeing as he was a Ravenclaw in
his Hogwarts years, and Ravenclaws knew better than to cheer on a Slytherin. But he wouldn't get childish about it. He was, after all a grown man.
Starbright didn't exactly come for the match itself, but more for the experience and memories. Popping a couple pieces of Wigmar's Magic Popping Corn
into his mouth, he sat back to enjoy the match.

Arianna stood in the stands with her housemates from Hufflepuff. Around her stood mostly her teammates, including her cousin Kylie Bishop. The two of them
groaned as Slytherin was able to execute the first move of the match, stealing the Quaffle away. Slytherin was the team every house had some sort of grudge
against, it seemed. Arianna noticed it as well. It was inexplicable, but the students in silver and green were the only ones cheering when Youji grabbed the
ball.
"GO, GO GRYFFINDOR!" Arianna shouted alongside her friends, pumping her fist in the air as the Gryffindor chasers sped after Youji. "Take 'em down!" she hollered enthusiastically. There were very few things that could get Arianna Nemolla fired up the way Quidditch did. She looked at Kylie, beside her, with a slight frown, realizing how much more her team would need to practice before their first match. Each member of the Hufflepuff house team was talented on a broomstick, but the strategies and plays they would need to go over... Arianna tore her mind from the subject matter of her own team, refocusing on the game at hand.

Rhodri had heard about the Quidditch game around town and had closed his stationary shop with a "Gone to game" sign on the door. It was a well needed
excuse to get out of his shop and out into the world for a bit. Having double-checked his locks, he set out with a light heart, whistling an airy tune. He
liked the game quite a lot and couldn't wait to cheer on the current students.
When he was arrived, he was excited to see his former house, Gryffindor, on the pitch against Slytherin. He was hoping it would make for a good game, though he would have cheered on any good players and plays. Not being sure where to sit, he headed for the area that was the thickest with gold and red robes, at least he would be among people from his own house, though he wouldn't know any of them now. He cheered heartily for the kickoff and watched as all of the balls flew off in multiple directions, losing sight of the Snitch at once and instead focusing on the Quaffle. He enjoyed the strategy the Chasers employed. Turning to a nearby student, he tried to ask above the cheering "Who is the favorite this game?" ((Is it quite alright that I'm here?)) |

Alfred was in the Hufflepuff stands, enjoying the match taking place in the sky very much. He, like many members of his House, was cheering for Gryffindor. He
never had much trouble with Slytherin, but he had noticed that ninety-nine percent of its members seemed to be rather unpleasant. And from what it looked like,
Ravenclaw was taking that view as well, for he saw even students who were wearing blue and gray scarves shouting the usual Gryffindor cheer.
As the wind kicked up slightly, Alf adjusted his scarf appropriately to protect his neck against the cold weather. The weather conditions were not ideal for a game of Quidditch, but he knew that Tatiana Snow was probably thanking her lucky stars right now. As an avid fan of the sport, Alf knew that Quidditch was played no matter what the weather was doing. If there was a blizzard happening when a match had been scheduled, the players best bundle up, because they would be playing unless they were seriously injured before the game started. That was actually one of the things he loved about Quidditch: the hard work put in and dedication of the players on a team. He smiled as he watched Lauren McMurphy speed towards Youji, who had taken possession of the Quaffle immediately after the whistle was blown. He wished he could be up there playing with them at this very moment, but judging by Lauren's skills with a broomstick, Gryffindor obviously didn't need any help. When he saw Lauren do what she did, he swore loudly. "Gryffindor's got the Quaffle!" he shouted, managing to state that fact before even the game commentator.

Will had arrived a few seconds earlier than most at the stadium to enjoy his house play a game of Quidditch. He was ecstatic that his house was the first to
play, and he had dressed for the ocassion. Due to the brisk weather, he wore a slightly heavier robe with the Gryffindor crest embroidered over the heart and
his golden and red scarf blew in the air. His gloves were also the Gryffindor colors, but he had cut the finger parts of as he found gloves that covered the
fingers to be very meddlesome. He always enjoyed the sport of Quidditch, in fact more than any other sport. He looked around at the students stands and wished
he was down there with them. I mihgt just join them in a bit. he thought to himself while seeing the mass of golden and red cheering on their team.
But he also enjoyed the company of his coleagues as well, for they all cheered for their old house and they would discuss good plays that the students made and
how other houses teams were fairing. He took in the brisk cold air and smiled. This is the life... Will thought while doing so.
The match began and Will saw a Slytherin he had taught before take the Quaffle before the Gryffindor Chasers could grab it. He couldn't recall his name exactly, due to the fact that it was extremely complicated, and he wasn't the most conversationalist of his students. Then he observed one of the Pevensies hit a bludger at one of the Slytherin Chaser and he raised himself off his seat for a split-second in expactancy, but sat back down when he saw that it was hit back at him. This was a very good match. He averted his attention back to the Slytherin with the Quaffle to see Lauren McMurphy perform a daring move and grab the Quaffle. He rose from his seat and cheered, almost spilling the Every Flavour Beans he had bought for the occasion on the spectators in front of him and stayed out of his seat. Gryffindor had the ball....why sit down? "Let's go Gryffindor!!" he yelled towards the pitch. |

Smiling, Joseph stayed in his seat and clapped his hands as Miss McMurphy took possession of the Quaffle. The game had just started, and it was turning out to
be a great match so far, as was clear by the roars and cheering coming from the Gryffindor stands (and Professor Fremen). Pulling a move off like that, the
headmaster briefly wondered if Lauren was going to pursue a professional career in the popular wizarding sport.
Joseph had looked forward to the school Quidditch season this term. While the weather could have been more pleasant, he wouldn't have missed this game for nearly anything in the world. The excitement of cheers and scoring with the Quaffle did Joseph's heart good; a heart that had gone through an awful low over the past few years. Nedea and Will had been taken my the Seven just a mere two years ago, and now Lindsey Potter was found missing after an attack that wizarding Britain now called The Battle of Hogsmeade. Yet for this one moment, even though it would probably only last for an hour or so, Joseph was able to be a little more cheerful than usual.

Ellyse Raven |

One could say that a certain Ellyse Raven was not having the time of her life at this very moment. Aside from the screaming only a mere centimeters from her
ears, she was very appalled at the shoves and pushes she had been receiving while watching the first Quiddicth match of the year. Personally, Ellyse would
have stayed inside the castle. More specifically, in her four poster with a good book in hand than to be out here. The only reason she was present was to
support Kiana as she was playing Beater for Slytherin and perhaps Lucien Entwistle, a family friend, as well. It could be very much assumed that she was
siding with Slytherin.
It was a chilly day. Not only did Ellyse wear her blue and silver scarf but a pair of black gloves as well. She applauded lightly as Youji Kurisataru managed to take hold of the Quaffle. The bludgers had been released. Those two were one of many reasons she refused to take up the sport. She eyed one of the two bludgers as it roamed around looking as if it wanted to intentionally hit someone. Of all positions, Kiana had wanted to be Beater. She rolled her eyes at the thought. Out of the corner of her eye, she had noticed a peculiarity. A player had been late in taking off and was only doing so now. She recognized him to be her mystery man in Transfiguration. He had so boldly taken a chance in asking her out during that day in Transfiguration. She had not given him straight answer but perhaps this game would help her with her decision. Lauren McMurphy's steal made a few of her house mates jump in joy. One, in particular, had hit her from behind in doing so. While not one to be aggressive, she just could not let this pass without doing something. She stood up, turned around and faced the person behind her who was responsible. She took ahold of his collar and pulled him down to her level until their faces met. "That is the first and LAST time you are doing that" she told him fiercely then let go of his collar. He was slightly shaken but nonetheless acted as if nothing happened. She turned back to the game and sat back down again.

Dante entered the stands to do what any good captain would do, scout the other teams. He enjoyed watching Quidditich very much. He crossed his arms as the
match started but couldn't help finding himself cheering for Slytherin. He liked their physical style of playing Quidditich. It remind him of the game he
loved so much, hockey.
"LET'S GO SLYTHERIN!!!" He yelled as he watched Bradley Michael Jeulit save his younger sister from a bludger. He felt the weird looks he was receiving from some of the other students in the stands and completely understood why he was getting them. It must have looked very odd to see someone from Ravenclaw cheering on the Slytherins. He continued to watch the match, playing close attention to both teams.
